How long can I keep a dumpster?
Every dumpster rental from Javi's Dumpster Services includes 7 days on site. If you need it longer, each day past your scheduled pickup date is $30, and 30 days is the maximum for one box. What does the 7-day rental actually mean?
The clock starts the day the box is delivered and the included period runs 7 days from there. Inside that week you can fill it as fast or as slowly as the job allows and call for pickup whenever it is done; there is no discount for calling early and no charge for using the whole week. Most residential jobs never touch the limit: a cleanout is a weekend, a bathroom demo is two days, a roof is one. The week exists for the remodel that runs long and the estate cleanout that takes every evening for a week.
What happens after day 7?
Each day past your scheduled pickup date is $30, billed with the rental. Three extra days on a 20 yard is $90 on top of $495, and that is the entire cost of running long; the price of the box does not change. The one thing that matters is calling before the pickup date, so the truck is not sent for a box that is still being loaded and the driveway is not blocked by a container you thought was leaving.

How do I extend the rental?
Call (407) 860-8640 before the pickup date and say how many more days you need. That is the whole process: no form, no new contract, the extra days are added at $30 each and the pickup is rescheduled. Text works too. What does not work is silence: if nobody calls, the truck comes on the scheduled day, and if the box is full it gets hauled and the job needs a second one. If you can see the job running long on day two, call on day two.
What is the 30-day maximum?
One container can stay 30 days from delivery, which covers a long remodel with the extra days billed. Past that, the box needs to move: either it is swapped for an empty one at the published price, which restarts the 7 days, or the job is really an ongoing one and monthly dumpster service fits better, with a full box swapped for an empty one on a set schedule, month to month, no contract. Contractors on multi-month jobs and property managers with steady turnover debris usually end up there.
How does pickup get scheduled?
You call when the box is full or the job is done, and pickup happens in the window between 6:00am and 5:00pm after the call. Nobody needs to be home, but the truck needs to reach the box: cars moved, gate open, nothing built in front of it since delivery. A box the truck cannot get to at pickup is a $150 trip charge and a rescheduled pickup, which is the only avoidable fee that has nothing to do with what is inside the container. Can I get the box for just one day?
Yes, and it costs the same as seven, because the 7 days are included in every price rather than sold separately. A one-day cleanout is a box dropped in the morning and pulled the next day, or the same afternoon when truck space allows; the same-day page explains how that space works.
