What does a house cleanout weigh?
Less than people fear. A full 20 yard of household contents, sofas, mattresses, dressers, boxes, clothes, toys, lamps and rugs, usually weighs between one and 1.5 tons, under the 2 tons allowance. Household debris is the light end of what the landfill sees.
